VOTING BY SEALED ENVELOPE BALLOT
A voter is eligible to vote by Sealed Envelope Ballot
if he/she is unable to attend the voting place in person on By-Election Day or on advance voting
days.

An
application
to vote by Sealed Envelope Ballot may be made by
email,
fax or mail commencing Friday, January 30, 2009, through to
Friday, March 13, 2009, 4:30 p.m.
|
In-person applications will be accepted commencing
Tuesday, February 17, 2009. Eligible voters who apply in-person will receive a Sealed Envelope
Ballot package at that time.

Persons applying by
email,
fax or mail by Thursday March 5, 2009, will be forwarded a Sealed Envelope Ballot package by mail.
Persons applying by
email,
fax or mail between Friday March 6, 2009, and Friday,
March 13, 2009 may make alternate arrangements to have the Sealed Envelope Ballot package delivered to him
or her.

An eligible voter may designate in writing a relative, spouse or
common-law partner to deliver the Sealed Envelope Ballot package to him or her. A completed
authorization form
must be presented to the Senior Election Official no
later than 4:30 p.m., Friday, March 13, 2009, in order to receive the Sealed Envelope Ballot
package.

The eligible voter must return the ballot to the Senior Election
Official, Main Floor, Council Building, 510 Main Street, prior to the close of voting at 8:00 p.m.
on Tuesday, March 17, 2009, By-Election Day.
