Active Transportation

Winnipeg’s surge in active transportation programs is championed by the Mayor and strongly supported by Council and energetic community groups. Since approving its 2005 Active Transportation Study, the City has fulfilled four key priorities that included hiring a dedicated coordinator and forming an advisory committee.
