Winnipeg, December 4, 2009 –Children are guaranteed to enjoy a fun-filled day of nature discovery at the City of Winnipeg’s Living Prairie Museum this month as Wild Winter Day Camps are scheduled for December 21, 22, and 23, 2009.
Children, between seven and ten years of age, will strap on snowshoes to investigate the secrets of snow, build quinzees, and track animal footprints across the prairie. Many other activities including games, crafts, and a winter survival workshop are also planned. Snacks will be provided.

Drop off time: 8:45 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.
Pick-up time: 4:00 p.m. to 4:15 p.m. |

Cost per day is $25 per child, $20 for members of “Friends of Living Prairie Museum”. |
