New Cross Country Ski Trails in St. James

Winnipeg, December 7, 2010 - The next time you visit Winnipeg's Living Prairie Museum, be sure to bring your cross country skis! The tall grass prairie preserve is located at 2795 Ness Avenue and skiers are encouraged to discover the winter wonders of this endangered ecosystem.

The trail will be groomed each Friday and is open daily from dawn until dusk. Entrance to the 1.4 km trail is free and access is from the South East corner of the museum parking lot.
