Citizens Hall of Fame
Citizens Hall of Fame
As the first of its kind, the Citizens Hall of Fame is a permanent momento to the pursuit and attainment of individual excellence and achievement on behalf of one's community. It is a tourist attraction, repository of local history, a source of education to the Winnipeg community, and lastly, a vehicle for displaying talents of local artists. The Citizens Hall of Fame is located in the south east corner of Assiniboine Park near the Formal Gardens.

Steam Train

Miniature Steam Train
The miniature steam train is located outside the Zoo on the south side of the main Zoo parking lot. The steam train runs daily from noon to dusk, (weather permitting), Saturdays and Sundays only until October 30. Cost is $2.50 per person and you can call 831-0197or 897-3970 from the May long weekend until the October long weekend for informati

Pony Rides

Pony Rides
Starting May 22, 2010, Pony rides operate weekdays from 10:30 am to 3:30 pm and weekends from 10:30 am to 4:30 pm. Effective Saturday, June 26, 2010 pony rides will operate every day from 10:30 am to 4:30 pm, weather permitting. This attraction is located across from the Alpaca enclosure in the Assiniboine Park Zoo. Pony rides are $3.00 each and adults must accompany children under 5 years of age and under.
