CinemathequeThe Cinematheque opened in 1983 headed up by programmer/artistic director Dave Barber to provide a venue for independent, experimental, and Canadian films as well as international arthouse films. The theatre has 118 seats and is a great place to watch cool, weird or cult films, as well as host private renters for their myriad festivals, birthday parties, office meetings and more.

Fantasy Theatre for Children and The Theatre SchoolFantasy Theatre for Children is Winnipeg's oldest children's theatre, founded in 1981 by Artistic Director Tony Frost. The company operates twelve months each year, and is famous for classics such as "Cinderella" and "Charlotte's Web".
