Winnipeg, MB - Public workshops for the City of Winnipeg budget consultation process begin tomorrow night. Over the next two weeks, six public meetings will be held across the city, including a meeting in Winnipeg's downtown to be held on June 24th, 2013. This is an opportunity for citizens to help shape the direction of the City's 2014 budget.
MNP has been engaged to independently moderate the budget consultation process, which includes receiving input from City Councillors, stakeholders and citizens of Winnipeg. The citizens of Winnipeg will be asked questions about what they feel the priorities of the City should be and what choices they would make in setting the City’s budget.
