Community Services Annual Bike Auction

Winnipeg, MB - Residents are reminded that the City's annual auction of unclaimed bicycles will be held on Saturday, April 25 and Sunday, April 26, 2015, at Century Arena, 1377 Clarence Avenue.

There will be many bikes to choose from - approximately 400 bikes will be auctioned off on Saturday, and approximately 300 on Sunday.

The City of Winnipeg has again partnered with the WRENCH to offer over 250 ready-to-ride bikes tuned up through the WRENCH's UpCycle employment training program. Every time you bid on a WRENCH ready-to-ride bike you're supporting community bicycle programming across Winnipeg.

Also onsite will be information and displays about:

  • Commuter Challenge
  • Bike Winnipeg
  • Recycle Everywhere
  • WRENCH by donation tune-up stands

Public viewing will be:
Saturday, April 25 from 7:00 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. (Auction starts at 9:00 a.m.)
Sunday, April 26 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. (Auction starts at 12:00 p.m. noon)

On-site parking is available.

Please note that all bicycles are sold as is, where is, and no warranty is given nor implied.

Cash, MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Interac payments will be accepted. Cheques will not be accepted.

One-time Bicycle Registrations will be available on site at a cost of $6.30 per bicycle. Registering your bike will ensure that, should the City recover it, you will get it back with no additional charges.
