Winnipeg, MB - The public is invited to an open house on Tuesday, June 7, 2016 regarding the North St. Boniface Secondary Plan and Boulevard Provencher Planned Development Overlay (PDO) Review.
The North St. Boniface Secondary Plan is a vision to guide future growth and change in the area while applying principles from OurWinnipeg, the City’s long range development plan. The Plan also outlines the City's commitments and priorities over next 20 years for land use, transportation, services, and parks and open space in the area.
The purpose of the Boulevard Provencher PDO is to encourage the protection of Boulevard Provencher with its cultural and historic significance to the French community as the main street for the neighbourhood of St. Boniface. The PDO provides specific regulations for land use, signage and parking for the area.
The open house will provide the public with an opportunity to provide input and to ask City planners questions about the above topics:
