City Hall begins uniting happy couples!

Winnipeg, MB - The City of Winnipeg will now begin offering civil marriage ceremonies at City Hall, 510 Main Street.

Would you and your spouse like to have the distinction of being the first couple to get married at Winnipeg's City Hall? a brief description of your love story including an explanation on why you want to be City Hall's first lovebirds for a chance to be the first couple married at City Hall and to have your marriage fee paid. Applications close on October 28; the selected entrants will be contacted shortly thereafter.

On March 22, 2016, City Council voted to adopt the 2016 Capital and Operating Budgets. Conducting civil marriage ceremonies at City Hall for a fee of $500 was part of the adopted budget.
