Winnipeg, MB - At an event this morning, Councillor Brian Mayes officially dedicated the Nancy Allan Skatepark for former St. Vital MLA Nancy Allan.

“I have known Nancy for almost 20 years and it is truly a pleasure to name this skatepark facility – which she helped create – in her honour,” said Brian Mayes, City Councillor for St. Vital.

Upgrades at Nancy Allan Skatepark include new signage and bench seating funded by the City of Winnipeg in the amount of $1,500, and a refurbished monument dedicated to Louis Riel with a new seating node funded by the City for approximately $10,000.
