Winnipeg, MB – Give your pet a chance to share their holiday wishes! Santa will be at Animal Services for seasonal pet photos on Saturday, November 25, 2017 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Families without pets are also welcome to attend and can “borrow” an adoptable dog for the photo. Photos with Santa are $10 and are taken on a first-come, first-served basis.

The Off-leash Dog Areas Master Plan team will also be at Animal Services during the Santa Photo event from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The City of Winnipeg is developing the Off-Leash Dog Areas Master Plan to respond to growing interest and demand for off-leash dog areas in Winnipeg. The Master Plan will address the needs of all park users and will develop a vision and implementation strategy for off-leash dog areas throughout Winnipeg. Attendees will be able to fill out a survey at the event and talk to the team regarding off-leash dog areas in Winnipeg.
