Public invited to provide input on the redevelopment of Finestone Park

Released: May 17, 2018 at 9:55 a.m.

Winnipeg, MB – Winnipeggers are invited to attend a public workshop on May 31 to provide feedback on redeveloping Finestone Park.

The Finestone Park play structure was removed in 2003, after it reached the end of its serviceable life. The City plans to redevelop Finestone Park and is asking for feedback to find out what the neighbourhood would like in the park to better serve park users and the surrounding community.

The public can provide input through an online survey, or at an in-person workshop. The online survey will be open from May 17 to June 14. The in-person public workshop will be held:

Date: Thursday, May 31, 2018
Time: 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Location: Garden Grove School Gymnasium, 2340 Burrows Ave.
Format: Brief presentation at 6 p.m., followed by table discussions

Those interested in attending are asked to RSVP. For more information, please visit winnipeg.ca/finestonepark.
