About the Service
Units & Divisions
The Winnipeg Police Service has formed units within its divisions (refer to Organization and Structure) to perform specific services for the citizens of Winnipeg. Units provide many critical functions associated with the police force. Functions include managing traffic, river patrol and investigating missing persons, child abuse or sex crimes cases.
