Robbery

On the 10th of January, 2006, a 15 year old male got on a City of Winnipeg Transit bus in front of Portage Place. While on route to his destination he was confronted by two males who claimed to have a gang affiliation. One of these males produced a three foot long silver steel bar with a black handle, threatened to assault the victim and demanded his cell phone, money and baseball cap. The victim complied with the demand and the suspects exited the bus near Sheppard Street and Jefferson Avenue.

The first suspect is described as 16 years of age, 5'9, 140 lbs., short black hair, one inch scar on the right side of his mouth, wearing a black jacket, black shirt and black jeans.

The second suspect is described as 17 years of age, 5'6, 120 lbs., thin build, short brown hair, lots of acne on his face, wearing a black jacket and blue jeans.

The Winnipeg Police Service is requesting anyone with information regarding this incident to contact the District 3 Crime Unit at 204-986-2849.
