Sexual Assault

On Monday, January 16th, 2006 at 4:30 p.m., a female and a male acquaintance were walking through a building in the 200 block of Graham Avenue when a male walking past them sexually assaulted the female.

The victim’s male acquaintance attempted to intervene and was physically assaulted by the male.  The suspect was then detained by other members of the public until police arrived.

Forty-year old Stephane Steven ALLARD has been charged with Sexual Assault and Assault Cause Bodily Harm and has been detained at the Winnipeg Remand Centre.

 

Assault and Forcible Confinement

On September 22nd, 2005 a male was in the company of three other males at a residence in the 100 block of Lisgar Avenue. 

The victim was forced into the basement area of the residence where he was physically assaulted and threatened by the males. The males then prevented the victim from leaving for an extended period of time and he was eventually released by his aggressors.

On November 7th, 2005, members of the Division 13 Detectives arrested a nineteen year old male from Winnipeg in relation to the incident. The male has been charged with Assault with a Weapon, Utter Threat to Cause Death or Bodily Harm X2, Forcible Confinement, Assault X2 as well as Fail to Comply with Condition of Recognizance X2.  The male was released on a Promise to Appear.

On January 16th, 2006, members of the Division 13 Detectives arrested twenty year old James Joseph KIMEWON of Winnipeg.  KIMEWON has been charged with Assault with a Weapon and Forcible Confinement.  He has been detained at the Winnipeg Remand Centre.

Twenty-three year old Shane Paul GUIBOCHE of Winnipeg is currently wanted by police for his involvement in this matter. The following is a photograph of GUIBOCHE.
