Drug Arrest

On January 25th, 2006, members of The Winnipeg Police Service Organized Crime Unit executed a warrant at a residence in the 400 block  of Harbison Avenue.

Five grams of Cocaine, fifty grams of Procaine, ten pounds of Marihuana leaves and stems, a hydraulic Cocaine press as well as other drug production paraphernalia.

A twenty-three year old male from the residence was arrested for Production of Substance X 2 and Possessing a Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking.

The male was released on a Promise to Appear.


Commercial Robbery

On January 25th, 2006 at 3:30 p.m., a male brandishing a knife attended to a gas station in the 1100 block of Nairn Avenue and demanded money. The clerk complied and the male fled the store with an undisclosed of cash and cigarettes.

The suspect is described as a Caucasian male in his late thirties to late forties, 5'10 tall, with a large build, blue eyes, short brown hair, a goatee and moustache, wearing a blue baseball cap and a black jacket with a Crown Industry logo on the upper left front side.
