The Planning, Property & Development Department is located in the Fort Garry Place complex, directly behind the Fort Garry Hotel. There are a number of entrances to the Fort Garry Place complex:

  • The 30 Fort Street entrance provides the most direct access to the City's Zoning and Permits Office;
  • The entrances at 20 Fort Street, 30 Fort Street and 65 Garry Street offer barrier free access.

 

Customer Parking 

Designated parking for customers of PP&D is available in the surface lot off of Assiniboine Avenue at Garry Street- see map

  • Stalls # 11-28 are available to PP&D customers from 10:00 am through to 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday
  • Stalls # 29-38 are available to PP&D customers from 7:00 am through to 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday
  • PP&D customers parking in designated stalls are required to register their vehicle plate number at the reception desk in the PP&D office they are attending.

*The Zoning & Permits Office is open: Tuesday to Friday 8:30 am to 4:30 pm for all Zoning, Permits and Plan Examination services;  Mondays 8:30 am to 4:30 pm are reserved for telephone inquiries and completed application drop-offs. This enables Zoning and Permits staff to process building and development applications received throughout the week.
