Park Bench Donation Program
Commemorate a significant birthday, anniversary, retirement, special event or the passing of a loved one by participating in the Park Bench Donation Program. If you are interested or would like more information, call us at 311
Available to the business community and to the general public, this program allows you to leave a lasting legacy by remembering a special day or person in a way that will be enjoyed by many. In appreciation of your generosity, you will receive a tax deductible receipt at the end of the year.
Our park benches are:
- Environmentally friendly
- Attractive and easily maintained because they resist fading and do not need staining
- Made of high density polyethylene consisting of 90% post-consumer waste
Things to consider:
- The bench donation costs $1500.00 and covers the material, and installation.
- The Bronze Plaque can be purchased for an additional cost of approximately $170.00
- The Bench is maintained by parks staff for a minimum 10 years, although benches typically last for many more years.
