The Winnipeg Safe City Scoping Study

The Winnipeg Safe City Steering Committee undertook a comprehensive research project that culminated in the Winnipeg Safe City Scoping Study. Utilizing quantitative and qualitative data, this Scoping Study reviews the prevalence and experiences of sexual violence against women and girls in public spaces in Winnipeg.

Hearing from local women about their complex experiences of sexual violence in public spaces is at the heart of this important research and will inform the work of the Winnipeg Safe City Initiative moving forward.
