Document Certification

Residents are advised that services offered by the City Clerk’s Department, located on the main floor of the Susan A. Thompson Building at 510 Main St., will be available on weekdays between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., and are limited to the following until further notice:

  • Receipt of legal services against the City of Winnipeg

A certified true copy is a copy of a document, certified by the City Clerk or Deputy City Clerk to be a true copy of the original record. Documents that need to be certified can be brought to:

There is a charge of $5.20 plus GST, per seal, for the service, as well as a .50¢ charge per copy for photocopies.

Only original documents will be accepted.
