Vote by mail
What is voting by sealed envelope ballot?
Voting by sealed envelope ballot is a provision by which a voter can make application to receive an election ballot package delivered to them. The voter then marks the ballot and returns it in a sealed envelope to the Senior Election Official prior to the close of voting on Wednesday, October 26, 2022.
Eligible voters are permitted to vote by sealed envelope ballot if they:
- are unable to go in person to a voting location
- expect to be absent from the city on election day and the days of advance voting
