Obtaining a Police Information Check

When you apply for a Record Check you must have two valid pieces of government issued identification – one must be photo:

Photo Identification

Photo identification can be one of the following:

  • Driver’s License
  • Manitoba Public Insurance Identification Card
  • Passport
  • Permanent Residence Card
  • Aboriginal Status Card

Non-Photo Identification

Non-photo identification can be one of the following:

  • Provincial Healthcare Card
  • Birth Certificate
  • Immigration Papers
  • Citizenship Card
  • Social Insurance Card (SIN Confirmation letter)
  • Firearms License
  • National defence Card
  • Nexus Card
  • Fast Card from Canada Border Service Agency
