Indoor pools

Indoor pools (excluding Eldon Ross and St. James Civic Centre) are now open at 25 percent capacity for aquatic sports groups, lane swimming, aquatic fitness classes, and limited public swimming.

Residents are encouraged to book two-hour swim and fitness blocks prior to arriving at the facilities, as there is no guarantee of available blocks for registration upon arrival.

Visitors will be required to wear a mask when they are not engaged in water activities, follow provincial public health orders and provide contact information upon entry in the event contract tracing is required by Public Health.

Customers are asked to review the COVID-19 safety measures and use the self-assessment symptom checklist before entering the facility.

Access to lockers and change rooms/showers is limited to ensure social distancing guidelines are maintained. Please come dressed to swim and ready to use the fitness amenities. There will only be limited quantities of lifejackets on-site for public use; however, swimmers may bring their own lifejackets, flutter boards and toys. Permission to use toys will be left to the discretion of the lifeguard.

Hand sanitizing stations will be available at each entrance.

Until further notice all City of Winnipeg Indoor Pool saunas will remain closed due to COVID 19 restrictions.
