Crescent Drive, Windsor Park and Kildonan Park golf courses remain closed Canada Day and July 2 due to effects of weekend storm

Harbour View and John Blumberg golf courses remain open and ready for golfers

Winnipeg, MB - Due to effects of severe storm activity over the past weekend, Crescent Drive, Windsor Park and Kildonan Park golf courses are closed today, and are expected to remain closed on Wednesday, July 2, 2014.

Downed trees and tree limbs must be cleared, and safety assessments completed before the courses re-open.

John Blumberg (top 18 holes only; bottom nine are closed for aerating) and Harbour View golf courses remain open. For reservations:

  • Using the seven-day (begins at 7:00 a.m.) advance reservation system at www.johnblumberggolf.com
  • Contacting the clubhouse directly at 204-986-3490

The Winnipeg Golf Services website will be updated on Wednesday, July 2. In the meantime, for updates on closures at Crescent Drive, Windsor Park and Kildonan Park golf courses, please contact 311, open 24 hours every day, by phone at 311 or by email at 311@winnipeg.ca.
