Wednesday, June 1, 2016 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Winnipeg, MB - Winnipeggers are invited to attend a public open house to view the proposed park plan for the East End Cultural & Leisure Centre greenspace and active transportation connection.

In 2011, the Elmwood Recreation Review was completed. This review analyzed the condition of all Elmwood recreation amenities and prioritized improvements at each amenity location. As part of the Review, a draft concept plan was developed for the East End Culture & Leisure Centre site. The proposed plan for this site was informed by the community feedback collected during this review.

The second part of this plan is an active transportation connection which connects 575 Larsen to the Northeast Pioneers Greenway.

The City of Winnipeg is inviting citizens to provide their feedback on the second part of the plan by attending an open house or completing an online survey.
