Upcoming temporary closures: Weston Street, Sargent Avenue, Marion Street, and Stafford Street

Winnipeg, MB – Four busy streets will close in the coming days to accommodate construction work.

Weston Street

Weston Street will be closed today from Logan Avenue to Alexander Avenue until 3 p.m. for paving of the roadway.

Sargent Avenue

Sargent Avenue from Alverstone Street to Home Street will be closed from 6 p.m. today until 6 a.m. on Wednesday, October 14 for paving operations. Traffic along Arlington Street will be maintained at the Sargent Avenue intersection; however, motorists will be prohibited from turning onto Sargent Avenue.

Marion Street

Marion Street from Holden Avenue to Turenne Street will be closed from 6 p.m. on Friday, October 16 until 11 p.m. on Sunday, October 18 for rail crossing repairs.

Stafford Street

Stafford Street from Hector Avenue to Jackson Avenue will be closed from 9 a.m. on Monday, October 19 until 6 p.m. on Friday, October 23 for sewer work.

Motorists must use alternate routes while these road closures are in place.
