City of Winnipeg golf courses tee up for the season

Kildonan Park Golf Course 100th anniversary celebrations planned

Winnipeg, MB – City of Winnipeg golf courses are set to open on April 1 for the 2021 season. Residents can book tee times online starting today, or call the golf courses to book over the phone beginning Monday, March 29.

Municipal golf courses will follow provincial guidelines, including pre-screening golfers prior to the start of their round, closing ball-washing stations, removing rakes and divot fill boxes, and the requirement to not remove the pin from the hole.

Clubhouse capacity will be limited to 10 people and outdoor patio guidelines will follow applicable public health orders.

Kildonan Park Golf Course celebrating 100th anniversary

Established in 1921, Kildonan Park Golf Course is celebrating its 100th year of operation in 2021. To celebrate its centennial, we are planning a series of events and promotions, culminating in an anniversary event on July 28.

Golfers will also be able to take advantage of special pricing at the course. From July 28, 2021 and running until August 2, 2021, green fees at Kildonan Park Golf Course will be $19.21 to commemorate the anniversary.

In advance of the anniversary celebration, we are inviting residents to share their memories or stories with us to help commemorate 100 years of golf and good times at the course.
