Assault with a Weapon Investigation – C24-80910

On Saturday, April 13, 2024, at approximately 6:10 a.m., Downtown General Patrol officers responded to the area of the 600 block of Main Street for a stabbing incident.

Officers located and identified an adult female with multiple injuries consistent with being assaulted with an edged weapon.

The victim was transported to hospital in unstable condition and later upgraded to stable condition.

The investigation is continuing by members of the Major Crimes Unit.
