For Immediate Release

Homicide – Update: C19-52942

On March 12, 2019, at approximately 1:15 a.m., emergency personnel responded to the 1300 block of Ellice Avenue for the reporting of a shooting.
   
Upon arrival, officers located an adult male suffering from serious injuries. The male was transported to hospital in critical condition where he was pronounced deceased. The victim has been identified as 23-year-old Brett Anthony CADIEUX.
   
This investigation is continuing by members of the Homicide Unit. Anyone with information that may assist investigators is asked to call 204-986-6508 or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-TIPS (8477).
