Missing Person Alexander TURNER - C19-0084109
The Winnipeg Police Service is requesting the public's assistance in locating 15-year-old Alexander Turner. Alexander was last seen on April 10, 2019, at 4:00 pm in the Elmwood area. TURNER is described as 5'0", approximately 180lbs, with short black hair. He was last seen wearing a black jacket, black t-shirt, green pants, black shoes, with a brown back pack and 3 garbage bags. TURNER may frequent Downtown and West Broadway areas.
The Winnipeg Police Service is concerned about Turners well being and is asking anyone with information regarding his whereabouts to contact the Winnipeg Police Missing Persons Unit at 204-986-6250.
Weapon Assault – Arrest: C19-101644
On May 9, 2019, at approximately 7:10 p.m. Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Services attended to the 200 block of Vaughn Street for an adult male in medical distress. The male was transported to hospital in stable condition. The ambulance arrived at HSC but prior to transferring the patient, the male produced a hatchet and began acting in a threatening manner towards the paramedics.
Winnipeg Police General Patrol officers in the immediate area responded. A conducted energy weapon (Taser) was deployed and the male was safely disarmed. There were no injuries.
After being medically cleared a 24-year-old male from Winnipeg was arrested and charged:
- Assault with a Weapon
- Possess Weapon
He was detained in custody.

Weapon Assault – Arrest: C19-101660
On May 9, 2019, at approximately 5:40 p.m., Winnipeg Police responded to a report of a male armed with an axe at the Osborne Rapid Transit Station. The suspect had placed the axe against an adult male’s throat. The victim was able to force the axe away, but sustained a cut to his hand in the process. The suspect then chased a second adult female victim and threatened her with the axe.
Responding General Patrol officers located the suspect in the area of Jessie Ave. and Pembina Hwy. and placed him under arrest without incident after a brief foot pursuit.
Steven Andrew BEAULIEU, 33, has been charged with:
- Assault with a Weapon
- Possess Weapon
- Fail to Comply with Probation Order
He was detained in custody.
MISSING PERSON - Denise LAGIMODIERE R19-19104
The Winnipeg Police Service is requesting the public's assistance in locating a missing 17-year-old female, Denise LAGMIODIERE.
LAGIMODIERE was last heard from in Mid - April 2019 and is known to frequent the North, Central and West end areas of the city.
LAGIMODIERE is described as an Indigenous female, 5'7", thin to medium build, brown hair and brown eyes.
The Winnipeg Police Service is concerned about LAGIMODIERE well-being and is asking anyone with any information regarding her whereabouts to contact the Winnipeg Police Service Missing Persons Unit at 204-986-6250.
