Aggravated Assault – Investigation: C19-132704

On June 12, 2019, at approximately 1:15 a.m., members of the Winnipeg Police Service responded to reports of shots that had been heard from the area of McGee Street and Wellington Avenue.

A short time later, officers located an injured 26-year-old male in the 600 block of McGee Street. The male had been shot and was transported to hospital in stable condition where he remains at this time.

This investigation is continuing by members of the Major Crimes Unit. Anyone with information that may assist investigators is asked to call 204-986-6219 or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-TIPS (8477).
