Homicide – Investigation Update: C19-137536

On June 17, 2019, at approximately 5:50 a.m., Winnipeg Police responded to a report of a male shot in the 500 block of Agnes St.

Responding Central District officers located an adult male victim suffering from a gunshot wound and began to administer first aid. The victim was transported to the hospital in critical condition but has since succumbed to his injury.

The victim has now been identified as Chad McKENZIE, 23.

Investigators are asking both residents and businesses in the area to check any security systems for possible video. As well, anyone having information about people or activity in the area during this time is asked to call 204-986-6508 or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-TIPS (8477).
