Homicide Investigation - Update: C19-223056
The victim has been identified as Norma Andrews, 28 years.
On September 21, 2019, at approximately 4:30 p.m., emergency personnel responded to the report of an injured female at a residential building in the 500 block of Balmoral Street.
Upon arrival, officers located a deceased adult female inside the building.
This investigation is continuing by members of the Homicide Unit. Anyone with information that may assist investigators is asked to call 204-986-6508 or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-TIPS (8477).
Shots fired - C19-222559
On September 21, 2019 at approximately 2:30 a.m. members of the Winnipeg Police Service responded to the report of shots fired in the area of 1000 block Pembina Highway.
Investigation has revealed that numerous were shots fired in the area and upon attending, officers located property damage as a result of what appears to be a firearm discharge. There are no injuries known as result of the incident and no suspects.
The investigation is continuing by members of the Major Crimes Unit and anyone with information on this incident is being asked to contact detectives at 204-986-6219 or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-TIPS (8477).
Firearm seen/Shots fired - C19-222534
On September 21, 2019 at approximately 1:44 a.m. members of the Winnipeg police Service were dispatched to the area of 1100 block Arlington for reports of shots fired.
Investigation has revealed that there were multiple people were in attendance in front of an entertainment business in the area at which point the suspect began to fire multiple shots before fleeing the area.
No injuries have been reported at this time.

Assault with a weapon- C19-224275
On September 23, 2019 at approximately 2:20 a.m. members of the Winnipeg Police Service responded to the report of shots fired in the area of Waterfront Drive and Heaton Ave.
Investigation has revealed that a vehicle containing multiple occupants was in the area and was approached by a second vehicle. Shots were fired by occupants of the second vehicle into the first, at which point the second vehicle fled the area.
The victim, a 24 year old male then attended to hospital on his own and was treated for multiple gunshot wounds.
Officers have confirmed property damage as a result of the firearm discharge.
