For Immediate Release

Motor Vehicle Collision – Investigation: C19-229538

On September 29, 2019, at approximately 6:00 a.m., emergency services personnel responded to the area of Portage Avenue and School Road for a motor vehicle collision involving two pedestrians.  A youth female and a youth male were transported to hospital in critical condition. Both remain in hospital.

The driver of the vehicle remained on the scene. The cause of the accident is still under investigation.

The investigation is continuing by members of the Traffic Division. Anyone with information regarding the matter, or that may have witnessed the collision, is asked to contact investigators at 204-986-7085 or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-TIPS (8477).
