Aggravated Assault - Arrest: C19-232393
On October 2, 2019, at approximately 4:00 p.m., members of the Winnipeg Police Service attended to a call in the 600 block of Martin Avenue East. Upon arrival they located an adult male victim suffering from multiple stab wounds to the upper body.
Investigation revealed that the accused had entered into a verbal argument with the victim at their shared residence. The argument escalated to the point where the victim was stabbed numerous times. The accused then fled the scene and was later located by patrolling officers and arrested without incident.
The victim was conveyed to the hospital in critical condition and has since been upgraded to stable.
Bradley Joshua SHARKEY, a 21-year-old male of Winnipeg, Manitoba has been charged with the following:
- Aggravated Assault
- Possession of a weapon
He has been remanded into custody.
