Fire – Investigation: C19-257277
On October 31, 2019, at 10:25 p.m., emergency services personnel were dispatched to a residence at 506 Pritchard Avenue. An adult male resident was located inside and transported to hospital in critical condition. He has since succumbed to his injuries.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by members of the Major Crimes Unit. Investigators are asking that residents and businesses in the surrounding area check their surveillance systems for any images during the period of 9:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. on October 31.
In addition, anyone who was in this area at this time and observed any unusual or suspicious activity is asked to contact investigators at either 204-986-6219 or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-TIPS (8477).
Homicide – Investigation: C19-260888
On November 4, 2019, at 11:45 p.m., Winnipeg Police West District General Patrol units responded to a report of a male shot at a residence located in the first 100 block of Tim Sale Drive. Officers located a deceased adult male suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. No further information is available at this early stage of the investigation.

Break and Enter — Investigation: C190260858
On November 4, 2019, at approximately 10:50 a.m., Winnipeg Police received a report of a break and enter to a residence in the 200 block of Smithfield Avenue.
General Patrol officers, with the assistance of a K-9 Unit and Air1, were able to identify and locate the suspect in the 300 block of Redwood Avenue.
A 19-year-old male has been arrested. He has identified as a suspect in other break and enters, and officers continue to investigate.
