Homicide – Arrest: C19-249793
As previously released:
On October 23, 2019, at approximately 1:35 a.m., members of the Winnipeg Police Service responded to the 300 block of Talbot Avenue regarding a report of a male who had been stabbed.
An adult male was conveyed to hospital in critical condition but succumbed to his injuries. The victim was identified as Darcy Lesley Rose, a 37-year-old male of Winnipeg.
Members of the Homicide Unit continued with the investigation.
Update:
On December 10, 2019, a male suspect was placed under arrest at the Stony Mountain Institution where he was in custody for an unrelated matter.
Investigators believe that the suspect and the victim were known to each other.
Michael Joseph Thomas Fox, a 30-year-old male of Winnipeg, has been charged with:
- Second Degree Murder
He was detained in custody.
Missing Person – Anna Middleton: R19-80887 - Located
The Winnipeg Police Service is requesting the public's assistance with locating Anna Middleton, a missing 21-year-old female.
She was last seen in the early morning hours of Sunday, December 8, 2019, in the Wolseley area of Winnipeg.
Middleton is described as Black and 5’5” tall with an average build.
The Winnipeg Police Service is concerned for Middleton’s wellbeing and is asking anyone with information regarding her whereabouts to contact the Winnipeg Police Service’s Missing Persons Unit at 204-986-6250 or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-TIPS (8477).
