Sexual Exploitation — Arrests: C19-294773
On December 19, 2019, members of the Counter Exploitation Unit entered into an investigation regarding allegations of sexual exploitation occurring at a massage business located in the 800 block of Notre Dame Avenue. Evidence from past and current employees was obtained and on January 26, 2020 investigator obtained a search warrant for the business.
On January 28, 2020, members of the Counter Exploitation Unit and Central District General Patrol executed the search warrant.
A 48-year-old adult male was arrested for
- Material Benefit from Sexual Services X3
- Possession of Proceeds of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000
- Procuring Person to Provide Sexual Services X4
A 41-year-old female was arrested for
- Advertising Sexual Services
- Assault
- Material Benefit from Sexual Services X3
- Possession of Proceeds of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000
- Procuring Person to Provide Sexual Services X4
Both have been released on a Promise to Appear.

Missing Person- Shawn HALL: R20-804
The Winnipeg Police Service is requesting the public's assistance in locating 30-year-old Shawn HALL. HALL was reported missing in January but was last seen at the end of December in the St.Boniface area of Winnipeg.
Hall is described as Metis 6’0 with an average build. He has brown hair and brown eyes.
The Winnipeg Police Service is concerned for HALL’S wellbeing and is asking anyone with information regarding his whereabouts to contact the Winnipeg Police Service Missing Persons Unit at 204-986-6250 or Crimestoppers.
Fatal Motor Vehicle Collision — Investigation: C19-68285
Previously released:
On April 1, 2019, at approximately 3:00 p.m., emergency services personnel responded to a report of a pedestrian struck by a motor vehicle in a parking lot in the 2300 block of McPhillips Street.
The pedestrian, a 57-year-old female, was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries where she was pronounced deceased.
Members of the Traffic Division continue to investigate. The driver has been identified; however, officers believe that several people may have witnessed this incident.
