Winnipeg Police Service 2019 Annual Statistical Report
The Winnipeg Police Service has released its 2019 Annual Statistical Report. The findings show that violent crimes and property crimes continue to be a serious problem in Winnipeg.
Both categories remain significantly above their 5-year averages.

Homicide – Investigation: C20-173625
On July 23, 2020, at approximately 5:25 p.m., Winnipeg Police responded to a report of a male stabbed in a parking lot at the northwest corner of Lagimodiere Boulevard and Fermor Avenue.
An adult male was transported to hospital in critical condition but succumbed to his injuries. The victim has been identified as Ryan Kelly LEGARY, 43.
This investigation is continuing by members of the Homicide Unit. Detectives are asking that anyone who may have been in the area during this time to contact either the homicide unit at 204-986-6508 or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-TIPS (8477) if they believe they have any information that could assist with the investigation.
