Serious Motor Vehicle Collision – Investigation: C20-250524

On October 21, 2020, at approximately 8:00 p.m., emergency personnel responded to the area of the Disraeli Freeway and Henry Avenue for a report of a collision involving a motor vehicle and a pedestrian.

The pedestrian, a male in his 30’s, was transported to hospital in critical condition where he remains at this time. The driver of the vehicle, an adult male, remained at the scene and met with officers.

The investigation is continuing by members of the Traffic Division. Anyone with information regarding the matter, or that may have witnessed the collision, is asked to contact investigators at 204-986-7085 or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-TIPS (8477).

Homicide – Investigation: C20-243013

On October 13, 2020, at approximately 9:25 a.m., emergency personnel responded to a residential suite at a building in the 800 block of Main Street for a report of a male that had been found deceased.

It is believed that the male had been assaulted the night before in the William Whyte area and later succumbed to his injuries.

The deceased victim has been identified as Denzel Allan Anthony Constant, a 24-year-old male of Winnipeg.

Homicide – Update: C20-249857

As previously released on October 21, 2020:

On October 21, 2020, at approximately 4:45 a.m., the Winnipeg Police Service responded to a report of an injured male in the 600 block of Ellice Avenue.

Upon arrival, officers located a deceased adult male.

Update:

The deceased victim has been identified as Dennis Tougas Beardy, a 20-year-old male of Winnipeg.
