Fatal Motor Vehicle Collision – Update: C19-178760

Update:
 
On November 23, 2020, officers from the Winnipeg Police Traffic Division arrested Jean-Pierre OLIVIERO, 34.
 
He was charged with:
- Dangerous Operation of a Conveyance Cause Death
- Operation of a Conveyance Cause Death While Impaired
- Within 2 hours of Ceasing to Operate a Conveyance is Impaired.
 
He was detained in custody.
 
As previously released:
 
On July 31, 2019, at approximately 11:45 p.m., a single motor vehicle crash occurred on the Midtown Bridge. Both the motorcycle driver and a female passenger were taken to hospital, however, the 28-year-old female succumbed to her injuries.
 
Investigators from the Winnipeg Police Service Traffic Division are requesting the public’s assistance in locating the following male (driver of the motorcycle) who is wanted on charges relating to the incident:
 
Jean-Pierre OLIVIERO, 34, is the subject of an arrest warrant for Operate a Motor Vehicle Impaired Cause Death.
 
Oliviero is described as White, 6’0” in height, 176 lbs with a medium build and short brown hair and green eyes.
