A second suspect has been arrested in the murder of Adam Albert LAFORREST, 33, of Winnipeg, which occurred on June 16, 2021, near Main Street and Dufferin Avenue.
Carla Bridgette Duck, a 38-year-old female, was arrested and charged with Manslaughter following the incident.
DUCK and the deceased LAFORREST who were previously unknown to each other, had become involved in a physical altercation, which resulted in DUCK assaulting LAFORREST. Another unknown male in a passing vehicle observed this incident and stopped. He exited the vehicle, and also assaulted LAFORREST. He then got back into the vehicle and drove away.
On June 18, 2021, Tre Daniel PELLETIER-MONKMAN, 24, of Winnipeg, was arrested and charged with Second Degree Murder and was detained in custody.

On June 16, 2021, at 1:36 p.m., members of the Winnipeg Police Service responded to a report of an assault in the area of Main Street and Dufferin Avenue.
Upon arrival, officers located a seriously injured male. The male was transported to a hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries. The victim was identified as Adam Albert Laforrest, a 33-year-old male of Winnipeg.
A female suspect was placed under arrest at the scene.
Members of the Homicide Unit continued with the investigation.
