Commercial Robberies – Arrests: C21-235202

On November 4, 2021, the Major Crimes Unit entered into an investigation regarding three recent commercial robberies with a weapon that occurred at various retail outlets.

On October 7, 2021, an adult female attended a retail outlet in the 600 block of Empress Street. While armed with a weapon, she stole approximately $1,000 worth of merchandise, threatening staff as she made her escape.

On October 15, 2021, an adult female attended a retail outlet in the 1500 block of Regent Avenue. While armed with a weapon, she stole approximately $2,000 worth of merchandise, threatening the staff as she made her escape.

On November 3, 2021, two adult females attended a retail outlet in the 600 block of Empress Street. While armed with a weapon, they stole merchandise, threatening the staff as they made their escape.

Two females in their twenties are facing charges in connection with these robberies. They have been detained in custody.
