Homicide – Arrest: C21-278721


On January 19, 2022, members of the Winnipeg Police Homicide Unit made an arrest in the murder of Tyler YAREMA, who was shot and killed on November 29, 2021.

Jamie Lee RUDOLPH, 33, of Winnipeg, has been charged with Second Degree Murder. He was detained in custody.

Investigators are asking for the public’s assistance in locating two outstanding suspects with warrants for Second Degree Murder.

As previously released:

On November 29, 2021, at approximately 5:30 a.m., Winnipeg Police General Patrol officers responded to a report of gunshots at a single-family residence in the 200 block of Forrester Avenue. Officers located an adult male suffering from a gunshot wound. Police administered emergency medical care until EMS arrived and transported the victim to a hospital in critical condition.

The victim has since succumbed to his injuries. He has been identified as Tyler Patrick YAREMA, 42, of Winnipeg.

The investigation into this incident is continuing by the Winnipeg Police Homicide Unit. Anyone with information is asked to call 204-986-6508 or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-TIPS (8477).

Gunshots – Investigation: C22*13753

Shortly after midnight on the morning of January 20, 2022, Winnipeg Police Genera Patrol Units responded to a report of gunfire in the 400 block of Kennedy Street. Witnesses described an exchange of gunfire between two groups of people, who then fled the area.

No injuries were reported.
