King Edward School Playground Redevelopment A grant has been provided to King Edward School to provide support for their ongoing School Playground Redevelopment. $100,000
Shaughnessy Park Fitness Trail A new pathway with Trekfit fitness stations have be installed to promote fitness. $200,000

Pacific Dee Park (Eldon Ross) Basketball court and skate features The existing tennis court has been replaced to include:
  • A basketball half court
  • 4 skateboard features
  • New benches and bike rack
Weston Community Centre Facility Improvements A feasibility study has been completed to assess the existing community centre building and recommend architectural improvements. Building Improvements will begin in 2015. $850,000
Golden Gate Park Playground New junior and senior play equipment, swings and climbing rock were installed in Golden Gate Park next to the new Spray Pad. $125,000
Brooklands School/Pacific Dee Park Lighting New LED lights will be installed at Brooklands School and Pacific Dee Park. $75,000

Westdale Pool & Playground Improvements The pool will be redeveloped to include a beach entry and water climbing wall. $400,000

  • A portion of sidewalk along Kings Drive connecting Parkwood Place to Kings Park.
Ryerson School Nature Playground A grant was provided to Ryerson School to provide support for their School Nature Playground development. $35,000

Arden Seven Hong Kong Veteran's Interpretive Plaza This Arden Seven Hong Kong Veteran's Memorial was built in Jules Mager Park to honour seven men who lived on Arden Street who fought together in the World War II Battle of Hong Kong. $75,000
Teen Stop Jeunesse Roof Replacement and Community Kitchen Project A grant was provided to Teen Stop Jeunesse to help replace the building roof and community kitchen $30,000
Ducharme Park/Barbara A. Mitchell Family Centre Site Improvements include:
  • Site furnishings and pathway upgrades
  • New spray features installed in the existing wading pool.

Glenwood Community Centre Arena Retrofit A grant was issued to Glenwood Community Centre for their Arena heating and ventilation upgrades $98,000
St. Vital Museum Building Retrofit The St. Vital Fire Hall will receive a retrofit to preserve its structural integrity. It is home to the St. Vital Museum and Historical Society. $208,000
Marlene Street/Seine River Park Improvements Park improvements include:
  • New asphalt pathways
  • Site signage and waste receptables
  • Benches overlooking the Seine River and located along new path.
  • Planting bed
Dakota Collegiate Cricket Funds will contribute to building an artificial cricket pitch at Dakota Collegiate. $40,000
Leo Remillard Tennis Court Funds will contribute to building new tennis courts at Centre Scolaire Leo-Remilliard. $82,000
St. Vital Memorial Field House Renovation Funds will contribute to the ongoing renovations at the St. Vital Memorial Field House. $60,000

Windsor Park Collegiate Tennis Courts Tennis courts will be resurfaced and new nets installed. $200,000

Bunn's Creek Pathway Renewal A study of pathway slope failures and possible improvements has been completed and areas of the pathway will be upgraded as needed. $350,000
