Corporate Support Services

Application Services

Application Services manages enterprise applications, such as the PeopleSoft ERP system, and the 311 Call Centre’s Lagan software, and supports shared business logic and application presentation mechanisms, such as web services and the City’s web site.

Application Services is comprised of the following three teams.


The PeopleSoft team supports the City’s Enterprise Resource Planning system, which serves as the City’s shared system for delivering Human Resource, Finance, and Budget services. The PeopleSoft team works together with Corporate Finance and Human Resources to support, configure, and customize the City’s PeopleSoft system to ensure it meets the organization’s ever evolving needs.


The 311 team supports the 311 Call Centre’s Lagan software package, including related integrations with various departments and business intelligence reporting. Lagan is used not only by the 311 Call Centre, but by the whole organization in its capacity as a first point of contact in case management.

Corporate Web

The Corporate Web team supports the City’s shared web resources, including the website, the Citynet intranet website, shared navigation content, shared design elements and standards, and content for shared services. The Corporate Web team works together with the City Web Manager to ensure that the City’s web site is an effective shared platform for information and service delivery.
