Winnipeg Police Service 2018 Annual Statistical Report

The Winnipeg Police Service has released its 2018 Annual Statistical Report.  Winnipeg continues to face serious issues when it comes to crime, as shown by some of the statistics that have been compiled.

Property crimes increased by 19% over the previous year, marking a 44% increase over the five year average.  Violent crimes did not increase, however they are 18% over the five year average.
