Homicide – Investigation: C22-72540

On April 8, 2022, at 6:17 p.m., members of the Winnipeg Police Service responded to the 500 block of Magnus Avenue for a report of an individual armed with weapons.

Upon arrival, officers located an adult male suspect outside a residence and took him into custody. A deceased adult male was found inside the house soon after.

The death is being investigated as a homicide, and the suspect remains in Winnipeg Police Service custody at this time.

This investigation is continuing by members of the Major Crimes Unit. Anyone with information is asked to call 204-986-6219 or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-TIPS (8477).
