Homicide – Investigation: C22-75057

On April 12, 2022, at approximately 4:00 a.m., the Winnipeg Police Service was contacted regarding an adult male brought into hospital with a gunshot wound in critical condition.

The victim was identified as Brandon David Thomas RICHARD, 28, of St. Norbert, who later succumbed to his injuries.

The Major Crimes Unit took over the investigation and a scene was located in the 1600 block of Burrows Avenue. It is believed RICHARD was shot during the early morning hours prior to being dropped off at the hospital.

The Homicide Unit has taken over this investigation and seeks any information the public may have regarding this incident. Anyone with information is asked to call the Homicide Unit at 204-986-6508 or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-TIPS.
